Applesauce
Apples
Fresh lemon juice
(Cinnamon)
Wash, (peel if you want to), and core apples. Chop them into cubes or slice them. Put in a heavy pot, squeeze on lemon juice to keep the color, and, if you want, add a sprinkling of cinnamon. Mix the cut apples around a bit to coat them with the lemon juice. Cover and cook over a very low flame until the apples soften.
Keep in a container in the fridge. If you won't be eating it all soon, freeze some.
